Impressive student intakes at the CCC related study programmes

In January 2013 the Royal School of Library and Information Science merged with the University of Copenhagen and became a partner in CCC. This summer, Library and Information Science has experienced an impressive increase in the number of BA applicants. The total number of BA applicants in Copenhagen and Aalborg has risen from 469 in 2012 to 615 in 2013 – corresponding to an increase of 30 per cent in Copenhagen and 36 per cent in Aalborg. All in all, 272 BA students have been enrolled.

Just like last year, the BA programme in Communication and IT can report “no vacant slots” with an intake of 77 students. The entry grade point average has gone up from 7.2 in 2012 to 7.7 in 2013.

Also when it comes to the CCC related MA programmes, there are plenty of reasons to be satisfied. All in all, 81 students have been admitted to the MA programme in Library and Information Science, 22 to the MA programme in Communication and IT, and 39 to the MA in IT and Cognition.
