The Learning Society

PURPOSE: The purpose of the project is to establish a network of collaboration with partners within the fields of higher education and public organisations for adult education and organisational development in order to cooperate on exchanging experience, best practices and knowledge on formal and informal learning formats for education and individual learning, as well as to develop new formats for education and learning design, which are adaptable to the future needs and conditions of the Nordic and Baltic societies.

METHOD: The project apply a participation research approach to the development of strategies and practices of learning.

PARTICIPANTS: Vejle Knowledge Center for Integration (Denmark), Valga Town Government (Estonia), Háskólafélag Suðurlands (Iceland), University of Agder (Norway), Kristiansand Municipality (Norway), University of Copenhagen

FUNDING: The project is funded by Nordplus Horizontal 2016 and will be running in the period. 2016-2018.
