Information Science and Cultural Communication

Master's programmes

One of the biggest challenges in today's society is to facilitate information and knowledge production. The study of Information Science and Cultural Communication focuses on the interplay between people, IT, information and culture. Knowledge about knowledge has become a key competence, and cultural understanding plays an essential role for the information broker of the future.

Full time study

A two-year full-time programme in Information Science and Cultural Communication: the Degree of Master in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.). This academic programme emphasises the theories, principles, methods and practical applications of information science. The programme is taught in Danish or English.

Part time study

A part-time master's course in Information Science and Cultural Communication for practicing Library and Information Science professionals. To be completed within a three-year framework. The programme is only taught in Danish.
