Professor Henrik Vigh and CCC’s Criminological Observatory have received generous support from the Obel Family Foundation

The Observatory serves as the University of Copenhagen’s criminological preparedness and early warning capacity. It is tasked with continuously monitoring and analysing criminal developments and trends in close collaboration with a broad range of societal actors.

The support from the Obel Family Foundation will greatly strengthen the link between research and practice in the field. With a particular focus on youth, vulnerability, and drug use in Denmark, the grant will, over the next three years, enable the Criminological Observatory to generate unique, research-based knowledge on these issues while situating current crime trends within the context of a rapidly changing world.
