CCC Labs: Observe, Move and Make

Physical space

Since Spring 2018 the CCC Labs have provided a physical anchor for the centre. Here is a brief introduction to the labs.

CCC is often described as a centre without a physical space. Yet, since spring 2018 the CCC Labs at South Campus (building 5A) situate CCC in a physical environment. Researchers and students across the participating departments have access to the labs. The vision is to craft a vivid, creative, cross-disciplinary environment pivoting explorations and tests of IT, digital media and their potential for research and learning.

The three labs are focused on activities rather than concrete technologies because CCC wants to invite to new ways for learning based on play and interaction. The labs are a huge playground. We describe the three labs by “observe”, “move” and “make” designating the different kinds of activities. At the labs’ webpage you can read more about equipment and possibilities.

If you have questions concerning day-to-day work in the labs and bookings, please contact Stavris Solo. If you have other general questions regarding the labs, please contact Laura Skouvig.
