Humphrey Asamoah Agyekum participates in seminar on Ghana’s recent election

CGC researcher Humphrey Asamoah Agyekum participated earlier this month as a panelist in the seminar "Democratic momentum in Africa? Reflections on the recent election in Ghana," organized by the University of Copenhagen's Center for African Studies. The seminar focused on the recent presidential election in Ghana, examining whether it can be considered a sign of growing democratic momentum in the country.

The panelists addressed key themes from the election, including challenges with water distribution, illegal mining, and the often overlooked influence of religion in political processes. With his expertise in illegal mining, Agyekum significantly contributed to the discussion on these issues.
